Twenty players earned 2027 PGA Tour cards on Sunday through the season-ending Korn Ferry Tour Championship, and among them is a 19-year-old pro who became the youngest PGA Tour card-holder in history. The promotions give those players a head start on the top tier, the Championship Series, as the Tour’s two-track system debuts in 2028.

Big changes are coming to the PGA Tour in 2028, and with the two-track system arriving in a little over a year, the 2027 season will be critical for players hoping to reach the top level. Owning a PGA Tour card for 2027 gives them a clear advantage in that race. Former U.S. Amateur champion Doc Redman, who played his way back onto the PGA Tour, is among the players who built that path.
